[Business Coach Tutorial Episode 33] When Change Doesn’t Work — And Why That’s a Good Thing

In business, just like in life, we’re always learning. And sometimes, those lessons come wrapped in a clunky user experience!  

If you joined our recent 6pm Mastermind, first of all — thank you for your patience. I want to share a little behind-the-scenes story, not just to explain what happened, but also to celebrate what we’ve discovered (and reaffirmed) in the process.  

Recently, with the intention to simplify how you access Ask Fleur’s monthly online events, we trialled a new pathway for registration and log-in. The idea was to make it quicker and easier, especially as our Success Community grows.  At 7am, during one of our smaller sessions, the change went... okay. Not perfect, but manageable. But at 6pm — our more established Mastermind session, with many of you attending — it was, quite honestly, a bit of a mess.  Emma, our incredible VA, and I knew immediately it didn’t work the way we’d hoped. And while we both shared a moment of deep sighs and furrowed brows, I want to say this clearly:  I’m grateful for that experience.

Because here’s the silver lining: it affirmed what we already knew — our original system works. It’s reliable, and most importantly, it respects your time and delivers the premium experience we pride ourselves on.  The truth is, delivering high-value service doesn’t always mean chasing the latest tool or quickest tech shortcut. Sometimes, the best service is the one that offers a smooth, and well-supported experience— and that’s exactly what we’re returning to.  It also reminded me why I made the decision to invest in the right platform, and in having a VA like Emma to support you — our valued coaching clients and community members. These aren’t just tools or tasks, they’re part of the premium service I’ve promised you as your Success Coach.  So, to those of you who experienced the bumpy ride — thank you. Your grace and patience mean the world. And please know that moving forward, we’re back to our original login pathway that you know and love.

It’s about progress, learning, and doing better because we care deeply about your experience.  Remembering it is how we respond rather than react to events that matters.
