Hello, I'm Fleur Allen from Ask Fleur. If you're new here, welcome! I'm a business coach and a fundraising consultant. Some of you may know me from my previous venture, Out of the Box Biz, where I had the pleasure of connecting with many of you through our monthly meetings.
Today, I want to share some exciting news about my latest venture and how it differs from what I've done before. If you're wondering whether I'm reviving Out of the Box Biz, the answer is no, which is what I talk about in this video. This is a completely new endeavour, and I'm excited to tell you more about it!
New Chapter with a Fresh Approach
For those of you who were part of Out of the Box Biz, you might remember our dynamic monthly gatherings, where we often had over 100 people in the room and a vibrant community of 120 members. It was an amazing experience, and I truly enjoyed every moment. However, during that time, my focus wasn't on being a coach. While I mentored some members—which they described as coaching—I never formally considered myself a coach.
Now, I’m shifting gears to focus on business coaching. Why the change? I'm currently acquiring formal coaching qualifications to better serve you and provide more value. I never called myself a coach before because I didn’t have formal training, but that’s changing, and I’ll share more about that journey soon.
Introducing Boost Your Business: A 90-Day Plan for Change Workshop
This new event, unlike Out of the Box Biz, is a face-to-face gathering held once a year. My vision is to develop it into an annual business conference with a twist—combining elements of an arts festival to create a unique and enriching experience. However, since I’ve only been back in business for a short period, I decided to start on a smaller scale for 2024.
So, I’m thrilled to announce Boost Your Business: A 90-Day Plan for Change a workshop designed to help you navigate change—because change is a constant in both business and life. Although we’ll be discussing strategies in a business context, the principles can be applied to any area of your life.
What to Expect from the Workshop
This workshop is all about action. We’ll spend time planning for change and doing the work in the room, not just talking about it. As a business owner, I know how important it is to get things done, and that’s exactly what we’ll focus on.
The event will have opportunities for networking, which is always a lot of fun, and we’ll wrap up with a mastermind session. This mastermind will be a bit different from what I’ve done in the past. You’ll not only experience the session and receive accountability and feedback, but I’ll also provide you with the resources to run your mastermind if you choose. This is a significant shift from my previous approach, where I facilitated opportunities but didn’t provide the tools for you to do it yourself.
Now, I want to empower you with the skills and knowledge to lead your sessions. Of course, if you want to keep attending the ones I run, I’d be delighted, but my goal is to enable you to be self-sufficient and successful on your own as well.

The event will be held on September 18th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be food and refreshments provided, and we already have a fantastic group of people attending. I’d love for more of you to join us.
I just wanted to clarify how this event differs from Out of the Box Biz because I know many of you might be wondering if I'm going back to that format. The answer is no—this is a new direction, and I’m very excited about it!
